Since Telemos partnered with management to establish the company in 2018, MedEuropa Romania pursued an ambitious greenfield strategy which saw the successful construction and subsequent operation of 5 state-of-the-art medical centres offering advanced cancer care including radiotherapy, chemotherapy and broader oncology services. The group was able to rapidly deploy resources in a significantly undersupplied market, improving patients’ access to best-in-class quality of care delivered by highly skilled medical professionals and supported by the latest innovative equipment. At the time of sale, MedEuropa Romania was in the process of constructing an additional 3 centres and had firmly established itself as the largest radiotherapy provider in the country with capacity to treat ~5,000 patients annually.
