Stingray Healthcare, a company dedicated to cancer care across Europe, has finalised a partnership with Zentrum für Strahlentherapie Rheine Osnabrück (“ZSRO”), a leading provider of radiotherapy treatments in North RhineWestphalia and Lower Saxony.
ZSRO provides high-quality radiotherapy treatments to over 3,000 patients per year, operating five linear accelerators across three locations. Since the establishment of the centre in 1999, beginning with a single location in Rheine, the shareholding doctors have invested in improving the quality of care for cancer patients in the region. This has included the opening of two further locations in Osnabrück and Georgsmarienhütte, together with continuous investment in modern radiotherapy equipment, ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care.
Through its unique partnership model, Stingray Healthcare is delighted to collaborate with the doctors of ZSRO, who have reinvested alongside Stingray Healthcare and will continue to lead the operations and support the future growth of ZSRO in the region.
This transaction strengthens Stingray Healthcare’s presence in Germany, which now comprises six locations, and establishes a strong regional platform, well-positioned for further growth in North West Germany. The partnership with ZSRO follows Stingray Healthcare’s acquisition of Margarethenklinik Kappeln, a plan hospital in Schleswig-Holstein, which was completed in February 2021. The hospital has a care contract in accordance with German healthcare regulations, providing a platform from which Stingray Healthcare can establish or invest in outpatient medical centres (“MVZs”), supporting its strategy for growth in Germany.
