At Jacobs Capital we build on this heritage to invest behind long-term, structural trends supported by consumer preferences. We are highly selective and look for businesses, whether product or service related, with strong brand equity, market leadership potential, and exciting, international growth. The businesses we support typically have disproportionate consumer relevance, resilience, and superior unit economics.

Consumer facing companies operate in a highly dynamic marketplace. We therefore look to support our portfolio companies with digital strategies and capabilities, and high return investments in M&A, technology, people and marketing, while looking to expand their international footprint.

Our preferred sub-sectors include: i) the food, health and wellness value chain (food & beverage, ingredients, as well as contract development and manufacturing), ii) consumer services, and iii) specialist consumer brands.

As investors we strive to identify opportunities for attractive risk adjusted returns; as entrepreneurs we look to partner with founders and management teams to accelerate growth and together realise the portfolio companies’ full potential.
